Tansley Gardens, at 4025 Kilmer Drive, is the first of three Tansley Gardens phases by Sutherland Development Group in Tansley, finished in 1997. It is a four-storey condominium of 48 suites on Kilmer Drive, a street in north Burlington lined with small, low-rise buildings.
Suites range from one-bedroom units, with or without a den, to two-bedrooms. They range from about 500 to 1,200 square feet. Being small is this building's main appeal. There are fewer neighbours, shorter elevator trips and a quieter feel than in a tower. Downsizers and first-time buyers make up much of the market here. Pets are allowed, within limits.
Larlyn Property Management runs Halton Standard Condominium Corporation 305. With just 48 owners, every big repair is shared by a small group. That makes the reserve fund study especially important. Ask how much has been set aside for roofing, windows and the parking garage.
Most of what you need is at the nearby Walkers and Upper Middle intersection. A bistro is about 200 metres away. Two pubs and a corner store are around 300 metres, and a Neighbours grocery is about 400 metres. Tansley Woods Park is roughly 200 metres away, and the Tansley Woods pool is nearby.
