About Mississauga
Open houses in Mississauga
This page lists every Mississauga home with a public open house coming up, straight from the MLS® feed. Mississauga is large, so it helps to pick a few areas first. Churchill Meadows and Erin Mills have many newer family homes and townhouses. Lorne Park and Port Credit sit closer to the lake, and Streetsville has its own village main street.
Go with your own agent
It's best to go to an open house with an agent rather than on your own. The agent hosting the open house represents the seller and works in the seller's best interest. An agent who represents you works for you and your best interest. Open any listing below and use its contact form to tell us the day and time you'd like to go. We'll be happy to meet you there and walk through the open house with you.
What to check at a Mississauga open house
Many Mississauga homes have a finished basement, and some are rented out. Ask whether a basement unit is a legal second unit with city approval, because that affects insurance and whether you can keep renting it. For a condo townhouse, ask what the monthly fee covers and whether a special assessment is planned. Also check the commute at rush hour, since the drive to a GO station or Highway 403 can change a lot by time of day.
To compare prices across the city, see the Mississauga market report. Looking at a condo instead? Start with the Mississauga condo building directory.
An open house is a first look, not a home inspection. Before you buy, read our home inspection guide and learn how offer conditions protect you. Can't make it on the weekend? Ask us to book a private showing, or browse all Mississauga homes for sale.

Mississauga FAQ
When are most open houses in Mississauga?
Most are on weekend afternoons. Because the city is so spread out, plan a route and pick a few homes close together rather than trying to see everything in one day.
Can I ask about a basement apartment at an open house?
Yes, and you should. Ask whether it's a legal second unit, whether it's rented now, and what the tenant pays. A tenant's lease usually stays in place when a home is sold.
Why are there so few condo apartment open houses?
Many condo buildings limit open houses because of security and elevator rules, so condo apartments are usually shown by private appointment. Townhouses and detached homes make up most open houses.
