The Marilyn Monroe Condos are among the most famous buildings in Mississauga. The twin curved towers rise 50 and 56 storeys at 50 and 60 Absolute Avenue, in the heart of the City Centre. MAD Architects of Beijing, led by Ma Yansong, designed them with Toronto's Burka Architects. Each floor turns a little, which creates the curvy hourglass shape. People gave the towers their nickname almost as soon as the design was shown.
Iconic Residential Living. Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group completed the towers in 2012. They anchor the Absolute World community and hold 453 suites between them. Because every floor is rotated, views and layouts feel unusual. Square One and Celebration Square are both within a short walk.
The Premier Absolute Club. Owners have access to the Absolute Club, a 30,000-square-foot recreation centre. It has an outdoor pool, plus an indoor pool with a hot tub. The gym includes an indoor running track. There are two squash courts, billiards, a media room and three party rooms. Five furnished guest suites are available for visitors.
