Parkway Terrace is an 18-storey condominium built in 1976 at 20 Mississauga Valley Boulevard. It's one of the older towers in Mississauga Valleys, near downtown.
Suite sizes cover a very wide range, from about 700 to 3,000 square feet. The largest homes are as big as many houses, which is rare in any condo tower. They suit downsizers leaving a house and families who need room.
At nearly fifty years old, the tower has been through many rounds of repair. Before buying, look at the reserve fund and ask about balconies, windows and elevators. Larger suites also carry larger fees, so compare costs per square foot.
The Valleys were built in the 1970s and 1980s around Cooksville Creek. Parks, trails and a large community centre shape daily life here. Groceries are close on the boulevard and on Central Parkway, and the city's biggest mall is a short drive.
Buses connect to the downtown terminal, and light rail runs up Hurontario to the west. Highway 403 and the QEW are both a few minutes by car, and Cooksville's GO station is nearby.
