1380 Costigan Road is a three-storey Valery Homes condominium of 51 suites, completed in 2017 in Clarke, one of Milton's established east-end neighbourhoods near Thompson Road and Derry Road. Its small size and low height give it more of a townhouse feel than a typical condo building.
Suites run from about 700 to 1,600 square feet in one-bedroom-plus-den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts. The three-bedroom plans are the standout — they give families an apartment-style alternative to a townhouse in a neighbourhood full of parks. Outdoor grilling is allowed and guests have their own parking. Owners may keep pets, subject to the building's restrictions. Because the building is only three storeys, top-floor suites get the most light and privacy, while ground-floor units can be convenient for anyone who wants to avoid stairs and elevators altogether.
ICC Property Management manages Halton Standard Condominium Corporation 604. With so few units, each owner carries a larger share of any big repair, so check that the reserve fund is keeping pace with the plan in the most recent study.
Green space is right outside. The two halves of Clarke Neighbourhood Park are within about 300 metres, and Harwood, Trudeau, Field and Laidlaw parks are all within roughly 700 metres. IMFIT and Portabello's Pizza & Eatery are a short walk, and the Thompson Square and Derry Heights plazas cover groceries and pharmacy runs, with Milton Mall a short drive. Highways 401 and 407 are close, and Milton GO has rush-hour trains into Union Station.
